Steamed Kale

2 bunches kale
water to steam
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper to taste

Rinse kale with water if not already cleaned. Cut away and remove stems from kale, discard stems. Cut kale into roughly 1-inch pieces. Fill a large pot with 1/2-inch water and bring to a boil on high heat. Add kale and cover. Let steam for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain the water from the pot with the lid partially open to catch the kale. Drizzle kale with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve while warm.
